This is a placemat I made the other day. Every now and then I like a mindless project just for the sake of knitting. Would make a great, and if you use a yarn that is machine washable, they are easy to care for.
- Size 6 needle
- Skein of worsted yarn
- 47 stitches with a slip stitch at the beginning of each row to flatten out the work
- Ribbing - k1p1 x6 row
- Knit every row until desired length (13"x 11" pictures)
- I casted on free hand, and started ribbing first row, Bound off knit purl oppose to all knit or purl bind off.
