I've been reading about master patterns lately, and so I decided to make a master pattern of a design I've had in mind for some time. I know it's been done before, but I wanted to make the pattern
pieces based on the master slope I have for this shirt based on my measurements.

This shirt fit like a glove. I can't wait to make it out of some fun fabric that I find.
It's harder than it looks to get the front portion of the collar even with the back: the front has to be longer.
I created machine eyelets toward the top allowing myself room to hem the first inch or so after I've inserted the cording. I haven't decided it hemming the collar toward the top is something I want to do. I can also chose to use metal or plastic eyelets instead of machine made. I think it will depend on the fabric. When I make one out of the right fabric I will make a large, and make the cord shorter. Also, this is muslin, so it's not going to drape like heavier fabric will. The sleeves will need to be a tad longer. Over all I am pretty excited to make a few shirts from this pattern. I love this style of shirt, because the pattern has so many options.
I could do a pocket in front like a hoodie, or a pocket in the far right corner. I could do the sleeve 3/4 length then make the collar short and v-cut the sides of the sleeves. Tons of options when you have a master patter to start from. This is the base for regular shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, v necks and more.
