I made these from clay that I milled and wedged myself, so I am pretty proud of them. I am happy with the cup with feet, and the small cup with the faces. I love the black glaze on the blue bowl.
This time around I experimented with different feet, glaze, and some texturizing that I hadn't worked on before.
I love this glaze. It makes it look like it's been at the bottom of the sea for years and years. I also really like making cups with feet.
I tested black glaze with this bowl. I did three coats and there was still a tad amount of pitting. Grrrr. I really was going for balance with this bowl.
I love this cup. It seems sort of magical in a way. I did the inside with white glaze.
I wanted to see what three coats of this glaze looked like, and now I know. I also wanted to try out a new bottom, no pun intended.
