I spent the day enjoying the sun at Washougal Park, just sitting with the warmth and that clear view of Mt. Hood. Later, I walked through my neighborhood in the Mt. Tabor area — all those big trees, the leafy streets, the quiet. I love it most around Halloween and Christmas, when people go all out with lights and those inflatable characters in their yards. It’s one of the things that makes this place feel like home.
